Yes, but there is the factor that Facebook has 450m users; and more than 100m of those sign in daily. As a simple ease of use thing; I think people would rather just sign into Facebook and check social networking and email in one go, rather than signing into hotmail too.

So in that sense they have an automatic kickstart user wise; if they manage to make it decent then it does maybe have a chance.

The point about crashing is definitely valid, though =P.

I can't see it working, personally; it's just another one of those useless functions that no-one will use, like Microsoft tried to do with those Windows Live Spaces thing. Plus, it's made by Facebook, so it'll probably crash every two seconds.

Thanks for publishing about this. There's a mass of solid tech information on the internet. You've got a lot of that info here on your web site. I'm impressed - I try to keep a couple blogs reasonably live, but it's a struggle sometimes. You've done a solid job with this one. How do you do it?

Hey I just wanted to let you know, I really like the piece of writing on your website. But I am utilising Flock on a machine running version 9.10 of Xubuntu and the UI aren't quite satisfactory. Not a strong deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and research for information, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of hard to apply with the config I'm running. Keep up the good work!
